Inflation Reduction Act Home Energy Rebates Information
The Virginia Department of Energy is expected to received federal funds for rebates for comprehensive residential energy efficiency projects and for high-efficiency electric heat pump purchases by low to moderate income-earning households. Please note that the rebates specifically for low to moderate income-earning households will not cover electric heat pump replacements. Virginia Energy does not have this funding yet, and is awaiting guidance from the federal government on how to issue those rebates. Learn More
