Stratigraphic contacts between map units, faults, dikes, and key beds are shown as lines. Points show the locations of mine features, water wells and well-derived data, and thermal springs. Some information has been reported to the Virginia Department of Energy by others. The accuracy of data is variable, and datasets may contain errors and omissions.
