T.H. Biggs, 6 x 9-inch soft cover book, 374 pages, one plate includes topographic index map with reference system, one figure, two tables, 1974 (reprint 2003). This index was designed to enable the user to locate a particular feature on a 1:24,000-scale topographic map. The index presents in alphabetical, categorized form more than 30,000 names taken from the 7.5-minute quadrangle maps. The names are categorized into four groups: place names, water features, landforms, and religious institutions. Note, information is current to 1974.
